Content of a website should be current, relevant, authoritative, accurate and purposeful. These are main criteria which decides how reliable and trustworthy a website is. To find out whether a website adheres to these a user could perform a check on the website. Some of aspects to look for are the URL, details on owners or managers of the website, currency of information of the website and certain other steps followed to prove the reliability of the website such as the availability of links like ""Additional sites" or "Related Links".
