How to evaluate a website
When we visit a website to get information or do a transaction we have to be concerned of certain aspects of the website. One of the aspects is the reliability of the website is that how much we can trust the web site based on the content it has published, the security of the information we provide to the website. Certain web sites may publish contents that could be biased, inaccurate and misleading. This could happen because of the intention of having the web site. One thing to look for is when evaluating in this aspect is to find who owns and manages the website. Most of the time it’s believed that government or public organization owned websites are reliable, trustworthy and dependable. This movie clip talks about some of the criteria that should be looked for when evaluating a website.
